Mesothelioma is a type of cancer disease which is mainly found in the workers who work in the environment where there is large content of asbestos present in the environment in which they usually work. This disease is also known as asbestos blood cancer. This cancer disease is one of the dangerous diseases known around the world. This type of cancer is mainly found in workers who work in industries which manufacture cement, pipe insulations, automobile brake pads etc. This cancer disease has a major impact on the lungs and its cavity. This disease also affects other major organs present in the body. Mesothelioma initially affects the outer covering of the lungs and the chest. If it not noticed earlier then later this disease after destroying the cavity of the lungs, begins to destroy the lungs by shrinking the shape and size of the lungs. As a result the working and efficiency of the lungs is decreased.
This disease makes the humans totally weak and unhealthy. There are certain symptoms of mesothelioma which can be noticed in patients who suffer from mesothelioma. The symptoms of mesothelioma consist of severe chest pain, difficulty in breathing, suffocation, wheezing, hoarseness, fatigue, abdomen pains, reduced blood-sugar level and continuous coughing along with blood. This cancer disease also includes nausea, sudden loss of weight, anaemia, pain in bowels, swelling up of feet. Sometimes this cancer disease do not show any sort of symptoms. So it is necessary for the workers who work in the environment of asbestos to have regular x-ray check up of the lungs. If the x-ray report shows the presence of fluid surrounding the lungs or disorder in the size of lungs, then it is required to have a quick and emergency treatment.
